From Mid-December to the end of March the Maui waters become a sanctuary. We start our morning scanning the horizon for the majestic Kohola (Humpback Whales). Because we are in a quiet, low-profile kayak, we don't have the engine noise of big boats-allowing us to truly hear the whales as they spout nearby. If you are lucky, you may even get to hear their songs rising up from the ocean. You aren't just a spectator; you are part of their peaceful world, experiencing the magic of these giants in a quiet, intimate setting.
